World Lacrosse League Announces Its First Franchise in Los Angeles

The World Lacrosse League has announced it's very first franchise, the Los Angeles Lettuce. Inspired by the cool breezes and beaches of Southern California, the Lettuce are the WLL's cornerstone team. With a logo inspired by the free spirit and laid back surf lifestyle of Los Angeles, this team will compete at the highest levels.
"We are thrilled to announce our very first franchise in the city of Los Angeles" said Cole Thompson, World Lacrosse League Commissioner.  "Although some people view Los Angeles as a stressful and hairy community, we think it's the perfect place for a WLL franchise and we expect great things to come out of this team for years to come" added Thompson.
The Lettuce will wear green and blue and all marketing and promotions will feature the exciting tag line "Let It Flow!"
Their mascot will be a sea god named Flowseidon.
